Jeffery Allen Sheren of Auburn Hills, Michigan passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 68.

Born on March 17, 1958, in Troy to Duane and Jean Sheren, Jeffery graduated from Avondale High School in 1976. Throughout his life, he was known for his remarkable mechanical abilities, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others. If something needed fixing, Jeffery was the person everyone called. A true handyman, there seemed to be no project too difficult for him to tackle.

Jeffery was a man of many talents and trades. He worked as a gravel train driver for Gilbert Trucking and also served as a service manager for Buick dealerships during his career. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jeffery was a private pilot whose passion for aviation led him to build his own airplanes-a testament to his ingenuity, determination, and love of flight.

An outdoorsman at heart, Jeffery cherished time spent up north fishing, snowmobiling, and camping. He found joy in nature and in sharing those experiences with family and friends. He was also devoted to his faith and community, serving as a trustee at First United Methodist Church of Troy.

Jeffery is survived by his children, Linnette Sheren, Stephen Sheren, and Kevin Sheren; and by his siblings, Deb Sheren (Barb Stevens) and Kathy Sheren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Jean Sheren, and his sister, Peggy Culver.

Jeffery will be laid to rest at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jeffery's memory may be made to First United Methodist Church of Troy.

Jeffery will be remembered for his generous spirit, skilled hands, adventurous heart, and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the things he built, and the memories he created with those who loved him.
