Did You Get Our Last Email?

IF YOU WISH TO RECEIVE EMAIL FROM OUR CLASS WEBSITE WE NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE TO DO SO:

Prior to sometime in earily 2016 all that we needed was your valid/working email address.

Then came the era of privacy issues and spam email. Now it is necessary for Classmates to register as website members in order to give us "permission" to use their email address to send email from this website. There are still a few of our classmates who were receiving class email from this site prior to 2016 that are sitll able to receive email from this site without being registered as members because their email addresses have not changed since then. However, once an email sent from this site to an email address bounces, registration becomes mandatory.

If you have reason to believe that you missed receiving email from us, first check your email spam folder. If you find it there you will probably need to “whitelist” our sending email address of noreply@classcreator.net.

Then, check out the Home Page. On the text line next to the link you clicked to navgate here, it will list the date that the last class email was sent out. Next check out the Missing Classmates/No Email link. If you find your name on one of the two lists, we do not have a valid working email address for you.

Then, click on the MEMBER PROFILES link, locate you name and click on it.

If you are not a registered website member, it will take you to a page where you can click on the link to join the website as a registered member. Don't forget to click the link on the welcome email that you will recieve to verify your membership and validate your email address. You must reister as a website member to recieve emails.

 

If you are a registered website member it will take you to your profile. You must now log in to continue.

DUE TO  WEB MAIL SPAM POLICIES OF MOST ALL WEB MAIL PROVIDERS, ONCE WE SEND YOU AN EMAIL AND IT IS RETURNED TO US AS UNDELIVERABLE (BOUNCED) WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO SEND YOU ANOTHER "DIRECT FROM THE SITE" EMAIL TO THAT SAME ADDRESS.

Why did the email we sent you bounce? Emails can bounce for a variety of reasons. The two most common are:

  1. You changed your email address and the former email address is no longer valid.
  2. The email server which “hosts” your email address was temporarily down or inaccessible.

We (the Class Reunion Website) can’t fix a bounceback problem on our own. You must be a part of the solution. Here is the procedure for correcting bouncebacks:

  1. If you are a registered website member you must log into the web site and a copy of the bounce notice will be displayed.
  2. You have the opportunity to enter an updated email address. If your current email address is valid you may opt to keep current email address.
  3. You  must click the link provided to send a verification email (this is to be sure email is actually getting through now).
  4. Once you receive the verification email you must click the link inside. The bounce problem is now solved and you can receive emails from the site again.

Important: You must be involved in the solution. Until you click the link in the verification email, we will not be able to send you any further emails from the class website.
