TV and Radio History

Byron MacGregor was recorded at the CKLW Reunion in 1985 at the WNIC studios in Dearborn, MI:

           Flashback to WXON TV 20:

Who doesn't remember The Ghoul ??!!

             Flashback to WWJ TV2:

How can we forget our favorite local weatherman Sonny Elliott:

and who knew that Willard Scott would go on to be

             an NBC Network Weatherman:

...he was also Bozo the Clown from 1959 to 1962:

Willard Scott finally retired from broadcasting December 16, 2015

We also remember the radio duo of Jim Johnson and George Baier, better known as JJ and the Morning Crew (brother Richard Baier was our band director for a time):

George's "Bruiser Band" had several well known songs locally:

Jim and George worked at several radio stations locally including WRIF, WLLZ and WCSX. While at WCSX George left and JJ teamed up with Lyn Woodison from 1992 until 2008 when the show was cancelled. After a 3 year absence, JJ returned to the local airwaves as host of the mid-day show on WOMC in 2011.
